This is an online blog that my boss/friend Rob can read and not be paranoid that I'm saying stuff about him behind his back. Also, just a blog about the everyday minutae of my life in Vancouver.

For example, on other days, not necessarily today (Canada Day, btw) as it's rainy and gross, this is the sight that greets me from my balcony when the sun is setting. Pretty, isn't it.

And it incapsulates why people flock to the place that will probably eventually be swallowed whole by an earthquake. It's just so beautiful here that you can't understand why everyone doesn't want to live here.

That being said, if I won the lottery I'd be outta here so quick it would make your head spin. London Calling and all that. But I'd probably always end up back here. Mountains, ocean, forests, lakes, rivers... don't get much better than that.
